USA TEEN RETREAT
June 1-5, 2026

Come for adventure and connection in the summer of 2026!!

The Learning Brave Teen Retreat will be based around the theme of being brave and opening the door to living your best life.

This year we will focus on 3 topics;

1. Be Brave

2. Create Belonging

3. Go and Build

Be Brave: By bravely being authentic, we can do hard things!

Create Belonging: Create genuine connections that celebrate differences, enable mutual respect, and nurture personal growth.

Go & Build: Through service to others we can choose to lead and facilitate transformation for ourselves and others.

Come along for an incredible opportunity to develop leadership skills, build meaningful friendships, and challenge themselves in the wild beauty of the Colorado mountains!!

The Retreat leaders for this trip will be Ross and Skyler Gilbert, both have extensive experience working with youth.

Ross Gilbert is the head of the Leadership Department at Williamsburg Learning and a current Leadership and Japanese Mentor. He was awarded numerous mentoring awards through Williamsburg Learning 2019 - 2025. He has never regretted leaving corporate life 9 years ago to fulfill his dream of living intentionally and working in a meaningful capacity with youth.

Skyler Gilbert is the founder of Learning Brave LLC, the mother of 5 children, a writer, artist, and adventure planner.

Both Ross and Skyler have lived and traveled all over the world with their family of 7. They are passionate about helping youth have meaningful experiences full of friendship and connection. Together they have been running successful US Teen Retreats and International Teen Tours since 2019.

Learning Brave will be joined by a number of excellent and qualified mentors from Williamsburg Academy.
