**Covid 19 update**
This tour is designed to bring youth together, and as such, we will be socializing in close proximity. Masks will only be required when mandated by the state of Texas for use in public places. The wearing of masks inside the tour accommodation will not be required and is optional. Learning Brave LLC will work to ensure the comfort and health of tour participants but will not be held responsible for any Covid 19 cases that arise during the tour. It is expected that tour participants will only attend if they are in good health and experiencing no Covid symptoms.
The tour mentors for this trip will be Ross and Skyler Gilbert, both have extensive experience working with youth.
Ross Gilbert was awarded top youth mentor for Williamsburg Learning in 2019 and has never regretted leaving corporate life 4 years ago to fulfill his dream of living intentionally and working in a meaningful capacity with youth.
Skyler Gilbert is the founder of Learning Brave LLC, the mother of 5 children, a writer, artist, and adventure planner.
The Texas Teen Adventure will be held at the fabulous Allaso Ranch and Retreat Center in Texas. This accommodation is truly one-of-a-kind and features luxurious homestead style living, delicious meals, and action packed activities for all ages.
The tour will be hosted in one of the Allaso Ranch retreat buildings, participants will be placed in separate girls and boys bunk rooms.
We are so excited to show you the activities for the Learning Brave Texas Teen Adventure 2021!!!
All activities are included in the price, all you need to do is make you reservation and then come along for some fantastic fun!
Activities include -Horse-riding, hay-rides, mountain biking, camp-fire pits, archery tag, nature trails, tandem zip line tower, high and low rope courses, athletic sports (basketball, disc golf and many more), canoeing, kayaking, leadership games, devotionals and much more...!!!!
** The water-park facilities at Allaso Ranch are fantastic, however, usually they open up the pool and water-slide in late March. Depending on the weather and also the desires of our group, we have discussed with Allaso Ranch the possibility of opening up the swimming facilities early to accommodate our Teen Adventure.
We really wanted to make this Teen Adventure as all inclusive as possible, and so we will arrange all transfers from the Dallas airport to Allaso Ranch through Learning Brave. Ross/Skyler will meet with kids at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and then accompany them via private shuttle to the retreat location in Hawkins, TX.
We will work with parents and help to facilitate travel buddy groups so that whenever possible, teens can fly together and accompany each other to Texas.
After registration, we will advise an optimal time for participants to arrive and depart the airport.
