USA TEEN RETREAT, MAY-JUNE 2022

Come for adventure and connection in the Summer of 2022!!

Learning Brave will be hosting multiple USA Teen Retreats during May - June each year.

Learning Brave Teen Retreats are based around the theme of being brave and opening the door to living your best life. To do this we will focus on 3 things;

                                                       Reflection, Connection, and Inspiration.

- Reflecting on our life, our blessings, our talents, our uniqueness, and our values.

- Connecting with yourself, your goals and aspirations, and then reaching outwardly and connecting with those around us and appreciating the differences and uniqueness we have.

- Seeking inspiration to live our lives to the fullest, by pursuing our passions and values, aligning our actions to those values, and inspiring others along the way.

Come along for some incredible connection!!

Make some new friends,

try some new experiences,

and learn together about becoming brave.

The Retreat leaders for this trip will be Ross and Skyler Gilbert, both have extensive experience working with youth.

Ross Gilbert was awarded top youth mentor for Williamsburg Learning in 2019 and has never regretted leaving corporate life 6 years ago to fulfill his dream of living intentionally and working in a meaningful capacity with youth. He has been working as a leadership mentor for The Leadership Academy of Utah and Williamsburg Learning since 2018.

Skyler Gilbert is the founder of Learning Brave LLC, the mother of 5 children, a writer, artist, and adventure planner.

Both Ross and Skyler have lived and traveled all over the world with their family of 7. They are passionate about helping youth have meaningful experiences full of friendship and connection. Together they have been running successful Teen Retreats and International Teen Tours since 2019.

Ross Gilbert as Retreat Director will oversee all aspects of the Teen Retreat and a designated First Aid Certified staff member will be on site at all times.

 Accommodation.

Accommodation will predominantly be on mattresses in cabins (each cabin sleeps 8 students) where they will need to provide all bedding (sheet and sleeping bag), pillows, and towels. Some students will be invited to camp in some tents depending on final numbers just to help spread things out. If you would like to camp please notify us at learningbrave@gmail.com . There will be a clear separation of sleeping areas between male and female and staff sleeping arrangements will be made to help with this separation and allow adequate monitoring.
