Come on a trip of a lifetime with Learning brave and experience beautiful Italy!!
This tour is FULL BOARD!! You don't need to worry about anything, just come along for the experience of a lifetime and have everything provided by us!
All food, accommodation and activities included.
This tour will be for teens 14 years +, and also for parents.
Young adults wanting to join this tour will need to apply first via email before registering. This is because the tour is focused for teens, however, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

*First payment = $400 due April 10
*Second payment = $1300 due July 10
*Final payment = $1300 due Sep 10

The tour mentors for this trip will be Ross and Skyler Gilbert, both have extensive experience working with youth.
Ross Gilbert is the Headmaster and also a Leadership Mentor for Williamsburg Academy. He was awarded numerous mentoring awards through Williamsburg Learning 2019 - 2024. He has never regretted leaving corporate life 8 years ago to fulfill his dream of living intentionally and working in a meaningful capacity with youth.
Skyler Gilbert is the founder of Learning Brave LLC, the mother of 5 children; a writer, artist, and adventure planner.
Our itinerary for the Italy Youth Tour includes;
ROME!!
Rome - the Eternal City. There is no other place in the world quite like it!
We will spend time exploring some of the beautiful, historic and cultural parts of this incredible city!!
Our time in Rome will include;
- The Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- The beautiful Trevi Fountain.
- The Vatican! The Sistine chapel, St Peter's Basilica, and the Vatican Museums and art galleries.
- The Pantheon. The best preserved building in the world from Roman times!
- The Leonardo Davinci Museum Experience. An incredible place where you can see and try out Leonardo's inventions!
- A bike tour of the Appian way and the Christian Catacombs. Fun, spooky and historical!
- Shopping, music, gelato, pasta, art and more....
FLORENCE
The capital city of the Tuscany region in Italy, and the birthplace of the Renaissance. Florence is known for many things, including its outstanding art, Renaissance architecture, and distinguished cultural heritage.
We will be visiting The David, the Ponte Vecchio, the incredible Galileo Museum and more!
LUCA
Our family fell in love with Luca when we first visited Italy! This picture perfect Italian town has an intact medieval wall surrounding the city and we can bike ride on top of the whole thing, it's so much fun!!
PISA
We'll be taking some fun and fabulous photos at the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
AGRITURISMO
- We plan on staying at a beautiful Agriturismo in Tuscany - a working farm where guests can learn about and eat local produce. We also plan on a hike to a beautiful Tuscan waterfall and swimming hole.
We also plan to include;
-AMAZING food!!!
- Lots and lots of Gelato!!
-Cultural enrichment through learning and exploration of the country's past, present and future. **Warning - Ross will be talking constantly about the history of EVERYTHING...
- Swimming (if weather permits).
- Possibly a cooking class.
- Movie night.
-Workshops and teen connection activities.
All of this and more for an incredible experience in Italy!
Accommodation.
We will finalize accommodation once we have firm numbers for the tour. We plan to base ourselves in two locations - Rome and Tuscany, and will be staying in either quality hostel/hotels, or Airbnb's.
Transportation.
All transportation is included in this tour, including transfers to and from the Rome International Airport.
After registration, we will advise an optimal time for participants to arrive and depart the airport.
We are very willing to work with parents and and youth to help facilitate travel buddy groups so that whenever possible, teens can fly together and accompany each other. We also offer travel consultation in the form of personalized help to find the best possible flights available for each participant! (We are very good at this as we have been full-time traveling around the world for the past 8 years!)

- We will greet you and provide all transfers to and from the Rome International Airport.
